Before there was Albert Thorn, or KickAss Martians, or even the year 2000, there was MONKEY WITH THE MACHINE !!!

These recordings were all made with 4-track cassette recorders, low-end samplers, cheap effects boxes, and a lot of 20-something male energy. Many songs started out as "sampling nightmares", bizarre rhythm tracks and textures that Albert recorded on cassette tape and mailed to Cock. Cock then had the burden of figuring out how to build songs on top of Albert's nonsense using guitars and his vocals. Other songs were just Cock doing everything in his home studio with his drum machine, monophonic sampler, and 4-track cassette machine.
